Riding A Wolf

Lawrence unexpectedly stopped sprinting after a few minutes, leaving William puzzled and alert. It even adhered to Lawrence's thick fur, which had taken on a dog-like appearance. Lawrence knelt to tell William that he intended to take the young man down with him. When William realized what Lawrence was trying to say, he leapt to his feet.

“Why did we stop here?” William decided to ask.

Lawrence simply returned to his human shape and said, “They're coming.”

“Who?” William inquired, his anxiety confused.

“Them,” Lawrence answered, pointing to the area where he heard approaching footsteps.

When William saw two big dog-like creatures with glowing yellow eyes, he flinched. The first is black, whereas the second is light brown.

“Don't worry,” Lawrence said to William, “because they're with us.”

When William looked at his pal, he saw it was barely naked—not even a cover. He dashed to the front and attempted to conceal Lawrence's bare body from the two animals in front of them.
