“You can…draw out the venom?” Hannah asked skeptically. “What, like a snake bite?”
“No, not exactly…I’m – I have this weird family bloodline that…honestly, I really don’t know that much about it. I was on my way to see someone who was supposed to be able to help, but I ended up in here. I healed two other wolves back at Onyx. Lupin and Marley.”
“Finn’s sister?” Fiona gaped. “His sister was attacked?”
“Yeah, but I pulled the venom out and she seemed to be recovering fine when I left. Most of the wolves are being killed, but the aswang that got Marley was interrupted before it could finish, and the one that got Lupin was distracted.”
“Does it hurt?” Fiona asked, eyes wide.

Finn We’d run all day and night, trying to trace her scent. We knew the general direction they’d taken her from the GPS location on her phone, but we didn’t know exactly what we’d be looking for. Finn Everest shook in my arms from shock and exhaustion. ‘Did you find her? We’ve got the wolves, but only two could shift…the rest we’ll either have to carry or lead out, so we need to go NOW before the aswang heal. We’re going to start heading towards the entrance, catch up to us as fast as you can…we’ll need the help.’ Kali said through the mind-link. ‘I’ve got her. Go on ahead, we’re right behind you. Everest Compared to the other two witches I’d met, Megandra seemed pretty normal. Though she wasn’t magic by blood, she was still practicing herbalism.
