Finn The sunset bathed her in a golden aura making her skin glow. She had pinned her long hair up exposing the nape of her neck. EverestThe day of the ceremony had arrived. I was exhausted. I had tossed and turned all night, with the memories of earlier playing through my mind. Training had been cancelled for the day to focus on the ceremony tonight, so I had nothing to distract me from my thoughts. Everest I sank to my knees in the dewy grass, the mate bonds power still radiating around me. My heart was shattered. I felt like a shell full of pain and hurt. Finn My paws thundered against the forest floor as I ran point on a security patrol. So far nothing out of the ordinary had caught my eye, but I was determined to be thorough.
