Three days later, Colette and Yvette sat facing each other in the detention center.

Yvette was obviously much more resourceful than Ginny. The police officer left and closed the door behind them right after escorting Colette to the visitation room.

Colette looked at Yvette, all clean and made up, towering over her. It set her off like a lowly slave.

Colette tried to hide her resentment, but her facial expression betrayed her emotions. She struggled to hide the bitterness in her voice.

"Ms. White, you promised to help me with the matter related to Yvonne, right? I've been stuck in this place for almost a week now."
