[Kael]
“Natalia was in here, right? Was there a time where you didn’t have your eyes on her?” Terrence asked. I looked at him, confused as to what he meant. I shook my head and told him that Natalia was clinging on to me the whole time she was here so she was always in my field of vision.
“Are you sure?” Terrence asked. He walked around my office and he looked like he was looking for something. As he walked past the plant on the coffee table, he stopped and fumbled through the leaves. Aira and I looked at him curiously. We didn’t know what he was doing but it looked like he was determined to find something. At last, he straightened up and held out his hand. In his palm, there looked to be a tiny metal piece. He held it with his two fingers and crushed it easily.

Wonderings Wonderings: Another Attempt
[Kael] “That was a listening device. She must’ve planted it while you had your eyes on something.” Terrence said. I was astonished, I didn’t even know that she placed it on the plant. I wasn’t even aware that she would go to this extent just to spy on me. Why would she do that? Why would she have to keep ears on me? “I knew there was a reason why she came over here. It wasn’t just because she wanted to see you, she needed more leverage against you. She wants to sabotage the launch. If we had talked about work while not noticing that device, we'd seriously be in trouble.” Terrence explained. I couldn't comprehend how twisted Natalia had become. She kidnapped Amelia and now she’s even spying on me. What more could she want?

[Kael] “Also, we found out about something in the apartment complex. The person in room 407 was a guy planted by Natalia. He was put there to guard the door where we think Amelia is. Someone tipped us off about the possibility of Amelia being inside that room. A little boy who lives next door often heard crying from that room and he even called Natalia, a mean lady. Also, Natalia locks the room from the outside. I bet she even locked all of the windows on the inside to prevent Amelia from escaping.” Aira explained to me. It felt like all of the strength in my body disappeared. She’s treating Amelia like she’s an animal trapped inside of a cage.

[Kael] “We need to do something and we need to do it fast. There has to be a way to save Amelia.” I told them, I was starting to feel desperate. Terrence walked over to me and he put his hand on my shoulder. “It’s not going to be easy.” Terrence said. I looked up at him and I knew he was thinking about something. I urged him to tell me. “Someone’s supporting Natalia. Someone’s letting her do all of these and I believe whoever it is, it’s someone powerful. It’s someone who has a lot of money to be able to support Natalia. If we want to help Amelia, we need to deal with that person first. If we don’t then there’s no guarantee that Natalia could do things all over again.” Terrence said. I agreed with him. [Kael]After talking to Aira and Terrence, I decided to investigate more on the mysterious person that's been supporting Natalia. I had thought that Natalia probably tricked someone in London to give her some funding. What kind of person would just let someone do illegal things under their funding? I don't think someone would be that stupid however, I could be wrong. There's a possibility that that person could have known about everything and is still willing to help Natalia despite all of the illegal things she's been doing. I also hired investigators in London to help with the search. Any information on that person could change everything."The launch is tomorrow, are you still busy checking everything?" Terrence walked into my office and asked me about the launch. I've been busy about the whole launch as well as the investigation about Amelia that I barely slept. [Terrence]The day of the launch is finally here. I brought Aira with me as my date for the event. I drove to her house to pick her up and she was dressed really nicely. I couldn’t help but admire her beauty.“What are you looking at?” She asked. I smiled at her and held her hand.“You’re really beautiful.” I said. [Terrence]We arrived at the hotel and it was already swarming with journalists. While walking towards the entrance, I could hear the journalists throwing questions at me like what our thoughts were about our competitors releasing a product ahead of us and how we’re dealing with the random rumors circulating online. I just ignored all of them and continued to walk and enter the hotel. I held Aira’s hands tight so she wouldn’t feel burdened by the flashing lights and the journalists’ questions. [Kael]Immediately after the launch, Terrence, Aira and I started creating a plan on how to save Amelia and how to get Natalia arrested. We booked a room at the hotel where the launch was held, and we made sure to keep the conversation that we’ll be having, all to ourselves. We made sure to switch our phones off and double check the vicinity of the room to see if there are any mysterious people trying to eavesdrop.“I’ve gone ahead and investigated Natalia’s background, what she’s been up to and who she’s been meeting. I found out that Natalia has been in contact with someone from London. I managed to hire a few investigators in London to find out more about this person.” I explained. I took out a piece of paper from my jacket pocket and I showed it to the both of them.

[Terrence]The following morning, I picked up Aira at her house and we proceeded to drive over to the apartment complex. Kael just texted me that he’s waiting for Natalia outside of the hotel she’s staying in. I took out the bottle of beer that Kael gave us and I climbed up the stairs through the fire exit and I went to room 407 and dropped the bottle by the door and I made sure to knock too so the guy inside comes out and sees the bottle.Aira was staying in the car while I was inside the apartment. I needed her to stay outside just in case anything happens. She’s also in charge of calling the cops but only after I send her the signal to do so.
