Why did this explosion have to happen now of all time? I thought as I stood on the road that had quite the traffic.

The police were trying to locate the attackers so I was in a long queue and three hours away from home when I can continue.

I sighed in frustration. Leslie was home alone, recovering from a terrible flu and I was honestly worried because I’ve been restless since I came to work. That prickling feeling that something was wrong but when I called Leslie, he mentioned everything was fine.

I picked up my phone to dial him but I ended up seeing three missed calls from him and a messy text.

It’s an emergency, I will either be in the police station or at Azrael’s place. The address is here.

I checked the time when Leslie had sent such a scary text and it was two hours ago. What the hell had he gotten himself into with that bad influence of a colleague that involved the police.
