Random Checks

Jas' POV

Jordan and Jenny have been gone for quite a while upstairs. Annie is naping on the couch with the kids and I think it's about time I checked on the two of them. Jenny really seemed upset. If anyone can get her out of her head, it's Jordan. 

Annie was a bit upset, but she wasn't so upset that I couldn't get her to loosen up and get focused on the kids. We really do have a great life here, with these two women. They have two completely different personalities and I love the two of them so much.

I lean down and kiss Annie on the head as I make my way upstairs. Out of habit I check the guards to be sure each of them are in place and are doing their jobs. To my surprise, one of our top men is checking his phone and not looking outside the front door at his task.

I'm no hard ass, so I watch for a minute to see if he is just checking something quick... Luckily it turns out he was just doing a quick message check and his eyes are quickly back where
