Chapter 100: “Getting Rid of the Bullies”

[Location: The border stronghold of the Northern and Southern Empire.]

Two days had passed, and Ares and Hera had grown tired of waiting for the Southern Empire's troops of soldiers to arrive.

"Finally, they have come," said Ares seeing hundreds of thousands of Southern Empire soldiers walking from a distance and getting closer to the fort that now belonged to him.

Ares and Hera slightly stretched their bodies which they had barely moved in the past two days. This time Ares wore a cloak to hide his identity, as did Hera.

After a while of waiting, the Southern Empire soldiers led by fifteen Generals arrived in front of the Northern Empire's border fort, and one of the Generals shouted to open the fortress gates.

Ares and Hera just smiled at the stupidity of a General who didn't realise he was being watched. Hera took out her golden-coloured sword from her storage pouch, as did Ares, who pulled out her greatsword.
