Chapter 32: “Expelling the Imperial Emissary”

Not wanting to waste too much time, Ares started destroying the stones blocking the river's flow. He created hundreds of fireballs the size of a human's head, and he aimed the fireballs at the pile of rocks that was the target of his attack.

It took thirty minutes to destroy all the rocks, and he had to be willing to lose fifty per cent of his MP. As soon as the pile of stones that blocked the river was destroyed, the water rushed into the stream that passed through the city.

Ares’ lips curved into a smile when he saw the success of his efforts. Seeing the water flowing normally, instead of going straight back to the city, Ares goes around making sure the river flow is safe.

"They seem to be deliberately blocking the river's flow to lure humans to come to this place. As soon as the humans come, they will be captured and made into food by the demons," Ares muttered, who had just realised the purpose of the demons blocking the flow of the river
