Chapter 357: “A City Lord's Misfortune”

Ares woke up from sleep in the morning after hearing a commotion outside his room. Andrew was the first to wake up from sleep; he went to Ares' room and knocked on his door.

Knock... Knock... Knock...

"Who's outside? Why is the sound so loud?” asked Ares, who was still in his room.

"That, the city security guards are checking all the residents of the inn because last night the city lord lost his storage ring," Andrew said in response to Ares' question.

When Ares heard Andrew's answer, he exited his room and met Andrew. He then took Andrew to confirm what was happening, but his footsteps stopped when a soldier appeared before him.

"Where do you want to go? Why do you guys look in a hurry?” reprimanded the soldier with probing eyes.

Andrew, beside Ares, felt something strange about the soldier’s attitude; he thought the soldier was looking for mistakes made by himself and Ares.

"In a hurry? Whom do you see, sir, is in a hurry while we are just walking," Andrew said, showing a confused ex
