“Is that so?” He laughed , taking a sharp turn and finally entering into the main road.

“So where is it we’re going?” He slowed down a bit, maybe wanting to give her time to think before he muddled her brain with his speed.

“You’ll see…” Halle said as she added an address to the GPS, Xavier looked down at it and then back up a her.

He looked so clueless that he was almost cute!

The fact that he didn’t know what was at that address proved that he’d never really been anywhere fun in the country. Did he just stay cooped up in the house for months or even years?

“If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you’ve planned on kidnapping me and asking for ransom,” Even as he eyed the GPS warily, he still followed the directions it voiced out with a resigned look.

“You’re just going to have to wait and see, you agreed to this remember?”

“Well, I thought you would chicken out and let me handle it,” He admitted, “I already made reservations at a restaurant by the lake,”
