Chapter 25

DUNCAN POV

The morning arrived, and I was woken up by smooth gentle murmurs that penetrated through my deep slumber. My eyes snapped open and found a very strange environment around me. A very lightweight shifted on top of me, and I glanced down to find Crystal sleeping on top of me, her arms locked around me securely.

Right!

I slept over.

I threw my head back to the pillow and hugged her at her lower back, slowly rubbing her through the soft fleece onesie she had been wearing.

Fuck. What time was it anyway?

I glanced around for the wall clock, and there it was, mounted on the wall and boldly signaling that it was a little after 6 in the morning. I had to go.

Carefully, and ever so cautiously, I shifted my entire weight underneath her, careful not to shake her awake, then gently lowered her to the couch we’d been sleeping on. After successfully getting off, I looked around for a fleece blanket, then draped it over her body and started a great hunt for my belongings.

Firstly, my sh
