Chapter Twenty-Three| Tension
Today I came to work a little bit earlier than I usually do. In fact, I've been sitting in front of my laptop for the past five hours staring at the door wondering if she'll be coming to work today.
I didn't understand where the fight between us began. It was frustrating that when we were finally making a breakthrough, somehow we got pulled back and further away from each other this time.
I said things I didn't mean, she probably did say things she did mean but I didn't want her to believe those things. I can't believe I called her a whore, of fuck I'm such an idiot!

I sat on JJ's desk patiently waiting for him to arrive. I held his coffee in my hands and I stared at the door counting the seconds he would walk in.
