Alone?

Falcon clenched his fists as he stared at the cell phone on the rest table in front of his living room couch. The clock read about 2:00 in the morning and I still did not receive the call or the message that I was waiting for so long. 

He had only removed his jacket and tie, but still he felt suffocated. His hopes that she would communicate with him were fading. He blamed himself for getting so excited and being so stubborn. He had become so hooked on that woman that without realizing he wanted her by his side at all times.

It could be due to the bond of destined couples, but she knew one or another case where this did not turn out like that, and both people lived together only because the bond made them reject the others, not because they loved each other.
