34. Wound

Maria was focused on the sheets of paper in front of her when the door opened.

 Jake came in with Sera.  The woman was still clinging to Jake's arm.  They didn't even seem to see her.

 Jake sat in his chair and his eyes met with Maria's, who was staring at him sadly.  Not wanting to be trapped, Jake averted his eyes.

 "Go home, Sera, I have done what you want. Don't disturb me while working," said Jake, who was starting to get busy with his work.

 Sera drew closer to Jaccob, she shamelessly sat on Jake's lap and wrapped her arms around Jake's neck.

 "Okay, I'm going home now. But tonight you have to accompany me," said Sera who immediately kissed Jake's lips.
