51. New Day

Maria went downstairs, this morning she woke up hungry.  She didn't want to bother Rose who had been serving her these days, she had recovered and she wanted to do it herself.

 When she reached the dining room, his steps became stiff and slow.  There were Jaccob and Aciel having breakfast too.

 'Damn' Maria thought.  She forgot that Jake always had breakfast before 7 am.  She cursed herself for coming down at this hour.  If she turned and left, all she could do was be seen as a coward by Jake.

 Finally, Maria raised her head haughtily, walked with firm steps, and sat down beside Aciel.

 "Morning Aciel," Maria greeted then took the bread and jam in front of her.
