Shocked and surprised, I continued. "How did you--"

"It's okay sir." She interrupted me. "I heard you both discussing it before. And besides, my lips are sealed."

I sighed. "Who else knows?"

"No one else. But sir.. don't you think it's wrong to hide it from your closest friends? And to hide it from both your families?'

I ran my hand through my hair. "We weren't supposed to last this long Marian. The deal was to take what was stoled back from her then divorce her. But now, I'm finding it difficult to even think about divorce not to talk of even letting her go. I just can't..."

"You love her."

"Is it that obvious?"

She laughed. "Only us can see it. Kaitlyn doesn't know it yet..does she?"

"I'm not telling her. She doesn't have to know."

"But she deserves to know. Make your marriage official and make it known to the world."

"What if she doesn't love me back?"
