I opened my eyes immediately. I placed one hand on my chest to calm the beating of my heart and used my other hand to wipe the sweat off my face.

It was happening again.

It felt as if these nightmares weren't going to stop unless I tell Wesley about that man I saw that day. And what will he think? What will he say if I tell him that I've been told not to trust him?

I felt Wesley move beside me. "Again?"

I pulled the duvet up my body and nodded. "Yeah."

"Come here." He laid down and I took my spot on top of him, my head on his chest. He tucked the duvet round our naked bodies and I sighed the moment I felt his palm rubbing circles on my back.

"Do you think they'll ever go away?" I asked him, tilting my head a little to meet his gaze.

"They will. When you learn to fight them. You don't usually get nightmares before so, there's a fifty-fifty assurance that they'll go away soon."
