T A T E

When I got back to my apartment in New York, I was tired and drained. The second I arrived home, I dropped my things and went to sleep on top of my couch. I was that tired to think I slept the entire hours during our flight back here in New York. I was glad that I'm hope, I miss civilization and phone signal and Internet and Monique. Even though Machu Picchu was a truly a beautiful place to visit, I still can't help it not to miss New York City.

Around seven in the evening, my hunger woke me up. As soon as I opened my eyes, I noticed that I haven't turned on the lights of my apartment. It looked as if I was in a cave. So I switched on the lights and yawned as I walked groggily to the kitchen to grab some water. I feel my calves aching, this must be because of all the hiking we did at Machu Picchu.
