Downhill

She sat back against the leather seat, feeling freedom's air coming through the window, a little smile on her face. It would be a few hours of laughter before she returned to the manor.

She missed Abby anyway; even a minute would be something with her. She only hoped it would be at her place, so they stayed up telling each other dry jokes and boring life stories.

She smiled again, looking forward at the cab driver, who hadn't said anything since she entered. In the mood for small talk, she asked, "Where are we going too?"

He didn't answer for seconds, maybe annoyed that she wasn't letting him do his job peacefully. "She says it's a surprise."Sorry, ma'am, I don't want to lose my pay."

She nodded, feeling thrilled already. Abby always did that anyway, knowing how much she couldn't stand being anxious, and she was constantly teased about it by Abby.

She looked down at her full yellow skirt and white top, simply styled so Maestro didn't suspect her too much, but she noticed the discomfor

She needs to show him the damn letter!! And for a DON he seems just as STUPID!! First question that should be asked is how would Maya have made those calls to the press? She's monitored at all times!!Second the questions being asked by the press? But nope no common sense here!!
