"What you're about to do is dangerous, Maya," Luca said again, turning, constantly checking the mirror to either look at her or the incoming cars.

"I know," she answered, staring down at the beautiful blue backless gown she wore and loving the feel of makeup for the first time in a long while on her face.

It was evening, and though she still had a fever, she was bent on looking the sexiest. She clutched her bag; that was the only way.

"This can't be the only way to get his attention; what if he hurts you?" Luca was saying.

I wonder what else she has planned cause at this rate getting back at him is working. Does he like being ignored obviously not. Let’s hope her plan works to get him back to where they were before everyone else started to butt in.
