Eleanor's POV.

I gasped in shock at Jane's words but it was like my tongue has been tied up or my brain frozen, unable to conjure words to respond back to her. 

"What? Cat got your tongue or you've been using the tongue for other things?" She asked as the girls laughed at her attempt at a joke. 

"Give it back," I finally said as I reached for the piece of paper in her hand.
