Delaying is no longer an option. I have to face Meg and discuss the matter with her. My fear is how she will take all this. Will she agree to live in a pack next to me, without the title of Luna and with an illegitimate son of mine? And maybe with Elissa at a distance?

What a mess!

This is not how I had pictured our mating. I had thought I would get a normal job, maybe as an assistant trainer or something, and then rent a cottage somewhere in the pack. Then I would go to Alpha Thoseo of Eclipse Moon and to Meg's parents to tell them that I would take her, even though she was not yet of the right age. I planned to accept whatever conditions they proposed, as long as I had my mate in Blue Blood near me. Meg is twenty now, most she-wolves of that age are already sexually active. But I was prepared to wait until she was twenty-one if her parents and Alpha asked me to.
