Chapter 25

"Why didn't you come to see me last night?" Luke asks when he finally got a moment alone with you.

"Luke," you exclaim, fear running through you. "I, I fell asleep and didn't wake up again.

Luke walked over to you and was about to kiss you when you push him away. "Don't."

"Do you have to sound like her? Bloody hell you even smell like her," Luke spat.

"It is just a spell. Her parents got onto me," you choke out.

"What is up with you? Why are you so jittery?" Luke asks, fine coming to your face with his eyes.

"Because she is pregnant," Davide says with a big smile on his face, walking into his study.

"Really?" Luke questioned with a frown on his face as he watch Davide wrap you up in his arms, kissing you deeply.

"I will be out of town for a few days," Luke says, walking towards the door.

"Again?" Davide questions, letting go of you.

"Family business," Luke informs him.
