Chapter 64

Elle wakes up later than usual. 'Should I find a way to touch Jude before school starts when he picks Maria up or after school when he drops her off?' Elle wonders smiling at the wonderful day ahead.

'Before school. I am not spending one more day a pack slave, she thinks, taking her time to get ready.

"You are late!" Maria burst into Elle's room. "Jude is already waiting downstairs and my hair is not done!" Maria rambled on. "He can't see me like this!"

Elle sidesteps Maria and leaves her room.

"Where are you going?" Maria calls after Elle, hysterical.

"To make coffee for everyone," Maria chuckles, making her way to the kitchen as a plan formulates in her head. 'I can somehow touch Jude handing him a cup of coffee.'

"Good morning, you," Jude greets Elle with a smile.

"Good morning indeed," Elle agrees, walking over to the coffee machine.

"Where is everyone?" Jude asks.

"Still in bed. You know they don't get up without coffee," Elle makes a joke even though it was the truth.
