Chapter 34: His father

"Nice to meet you, Esteban's father." Esteban's father responds to my greeting. Then we stand in front of a door.

Before I know it, we have reached the second floor of the house. The courtyard where I entered is out of sight, as well as the man who almost scared me to death.

"There is Aninka, I leave her in your care. For the moment I have things to do."

"Thank you" I say and he smiles "Thank you, for trusting me and not calling the police" I say clutching the handles of my backpack.

I nod and after knocking twice on the door and hearing a pass, I enter.
