he sighed as he picked his intercom again and called for her presence in his office.
Mahira had just reached her workstation when her intercom buzzed, frustrated she answered with a lace of irritation in her voice, then hung up immediately and huffed as she was summoned to the devil’s den again.
She deliberately waited for a good fifteen minutes before going to his office, once inside she looked at the dark expression on his face and prepared for a round of verbal lashing for not having defended herself and blah blah.
