Finally, it was time for the award presentation. Maxwell remained calm and composed. He was dressed in a neat and expensive black suit. His tall figure stood before Jennifer, and he handed the honor certificate to her personally.

"Jennifer Yale, you shouldn't care about how others view you. Do what you believe is right." He met her gaze as he said this

Jennifer's heart swelled with happiness. Was he acknowledging her innocence? She knew how much she valued Maxwell's acknowledgment more than anyone else's.
