Charlie looked at Lucy and smiled. "Mrs. Leon, I'm a lawyer and a friend of Matthew's. We've met before, I believe."

Lucy, not worrying about whether they had met, quickly said thanks.

"You've got Hugh, and yet you're still mooning over other guys!"

"Oh, come on, a face like that is just begging to be admired!"

Lucy did not know what to say to that, so she just shook her head and pulled Chelsea toward the restaurant.
