He saw marks on my face. It's probably from the slaps the alpha gave me.
Luckily for me, it healed on time before he could confirm it.
"It must have been shadows from the light you pointed at me." I said to Stark, trying to convince him that he was only seeing things.
"Yeah, it must have been just shadows." Stark agreed.
I felt relieved at that moment but I was bothered with the thought of what action the alpha would take next.
He wasn't and he isn't a werewolf to just keep silent or back down from anything.
Stark took my hand and led me back into the house.
"Let's get inside. It's time to sleep and not to wonder off." He said.
"Thank you." I told him.
"For what?" He asked.
"For talking to me. I thought you never would." I said.
