On the other side of the phone, Michael seemed a bit silent after the call. He stared at the phone in his hand feeling a bit bitter. It had been weeks before he finally got the courage to think about Elaine…that vulnerable little bunny. All this time, he had been keeping himself away from her but now, with just a small talk about her, he was back to the old guy who was smitten helplessly with her.

‘So she went out with him?’ He pondered about the guy that he had seen the night when everything fell down from how it was supposed to be. From what he remembered, he knew that the guy was pretty good looking and young.
