Keeping Jessy safe
All was quiet at the pack border, not a good sign when there are always patrols,
"Dad, stop here," I say to Dad who presses his foot down on the brakes
"Scott?" he asks
"If rogues are still about, I need to make sure Jessy's safe"
"But you are needed," mom says pulling at my heartstrings,
"It's ok Scott," Logan says
"I'll take Jessy to the pool house and keep her safe"
A tap on the window gets our attention, we all turn to see Antony and Bella who have clearly been eavesdropping
"Take Dawn too and James is going with you too, to help keep the girls safe" Antony says not even pretending he didn't hear what we were talking about,
Logan nods and gets out of the car and comes round to my door to get Jessy whos still unconscious on my chest
"Wait, I think Bella should stay with the girls," James says
"Nice try buster, but I'm going with them" Bella snidely says pointing her thumb at me and Anton

I keep hearing noises around me but my eyelids are too heavy to open, someone touches my hand, it feels like electricity running through my body, I know that as soon as I open my eyes I'm going to be back in that horrible cabin chained to the bed with the hunter looming over me, so I keep my eyes closed wanting to stay in my dream just for a little while longer, I hear his sweet voice "Please beautiful wake-up, I need you, Colt needs Jewel" oh, that sweet voice but I can hear pain in it, I don't like hearing pain come from him. "Welcome home beautiful" That must have been the dumbest thing I could have said but I was so shocked at seeing her looking at me that I was overwhelmed with love and joy that it was the only thing that I could think of to say "Scott" Her whispered voice brings tears to my eyes "Yes beautiful, yes it's me, I'm here, ill always be here" She tries to sit up and winces in pain "No Jess, no beautiful stay still, ill get the doctor". Jessys p.o.v. Scott was true to his promise although rather than keep me in his bedroom he had set up the pool house as our own place to stay, he stayed with me most of the time which I loved being with him but he refused to allow me to get out of bed other than to use the bathroom. Scotts p.o.v. The next few weeks have been busy, Jessy was basically recovered, she spent most of her time with Dawn because I was busy with dad trying to get information from the rogues that attacked us, most of them didn't know much and were just normal wolves that had been pulled from there homes to fight for a cause with the promise of a better life, If we felt that they were genuine we would let them go with the rule that they were not to set foot on our territory again or they would be killed on sight, others had a bit of information but not much as all we could really find out was that Jonas had a brother and wanted revenge for his death, the same three words were repeated again and again "WAR IS COMING" The trouble was none of us knew when, so all we had was queenLannas prediction to go on so we upped the patrols just in case and to be extra safe we sent groups out to the surrounding

Jessys p.o.v. I should be worried about school but I feel rough as hell, I feel so tired all the time but I don't want to worry Scott so I try to act as normal as I can around him. School seems to be better so far, Darla seems to have lost her popularity status so shes kept her head down and stayed out of our way, I'm struggling with my classes, not because I can't do the work but because I feel so tired. At lunch, I sit down and everyone looks at me "you ok?"
