Flashback*

“Am so sorry mum, dad...but am not having an abortion!” Sandra yelled while crying all the way up to her room. There was a heavy silence at the dining table.

“What are we going to do, Andrew?” Mom sighed dropping her head in her palm. Dad took his glass of wine to his lips and drowned the whole glass in one go.

“We will figure it out...come on let’s go to bed. Aiden you should go to your room.”

I nodded slowly and got up to the stairs. I passed Sandra’s room but decided to go check on her.

“Sandy? You still up? Are you okay?” Silence. I sighed about walking away when I heard the doorknob turn. She came out with puffy red eyes and I walked back to her pulling her into a bear hug.
