13- Drunken Elvira

The gloomy sunlight spread over the earth. On the way back home, Lev pulled the car over to the restaurant side.

"You didn't have your lunch yet. Let me bring some." He informed, opened the window before even Elvira responded to him.

"I'm not hungry right now!" She refused his offer like a light strike. Lev could acknowledge the hatred in her voice, so he paused.

"But-"

"I don't want anything." Looking away, she growled.

He sighed hopelessly since he couldn't do anything. He dragged his food inside and closed the door.

"I should've kept my mouth shut as usual," Lev muttered under his breath, bringing back the memory of his ex's incident.

Apparently, that fell on her ear. She knitted her brows at him, glared, and asked, "What?"

"Nothing!" He started the car, biting his teeth madly as she snarled at him.

They arrived at the house within a few minutes with fast driving.

She got off even before he came, opened the door for him, and went inside the house, leaving him standing outside alone
