2- divorce her husband

She straightened her non-changeable fury face towards him quickly, covering his finger trace on her cheek.

He pulled up her left hand, pointing out the engagement ring that had the same design as his.

"You asked for the divorce, weren't you? I will do it here, right now. Bring the divorce pepper here. Quick." With throbbing anger, her fire-emitting eyes glared into his eyes while saying that.

He waved his hand to the manager.

The divorce paper was placed on the table, and the manager left as he handed the pen to her.

Even without a slight hesitation, those fear-trembling fingers were about to sign.

He gripped her wrist and informed her seriously, "There is some obligation if you want to call off our marriage."

She was unclued about his mention, his index fingers read, 'Bride must give back 10 million won for the marriage that grooms spent regards her father'

She subtly narrowed, and the finger pointed out another line: 'In terms of agreeing on divorce, the bride loses the right to spend the groom's money or any other financial property. She will be thrown back to her old stage.'

A hopeless sigh escaped her lips. "10 million? Throwback to the old stage? What stage had I been to before?" Confusion surrounded her head.

"Yes, I'm now aged." What if any of my friends are rich?"

As she thought that she could borrow some money from her friends from school, and college, she took out her phone and slid up to unlock it.

While he was watching her rest with his hands on her hip as if it were too long, she touched the caller app.

Another shock shook her. "What? I have only one number." She subtly narrowed in on the caller's name: 'Lev Fyodorov'

Who is this man?

Why do I have his number only?

As she regathered her memory from childhood to her 16 years of the journey, she came to know she had no friend or relative by that name, but the sure name 'Fyodor' belongs to the CEO family, who was rubbing his side forehead anxiously once after peeking at that name.

She rubbernecked quickly towards him, which slightly frightened him. However, he swallowed invisibly and maintained a cool, angry face.

"What's your full name?" She asked as if she had no idea of his real name. She always used to call him arrogant since their first meeting because he had never been kind to his disliked person—Elvira was one of them.

"Are you out of your mind? How can a married girl have no idea about her husband's name?" He wrinkled in extreme confusion and almost doubted her existence. "Are you even in this world?"

"Married my foot!"

She cursed him directly, those eyes wandering to see his name on the contract paper. At the top left corner, she read, 'Leonid Fyodorov'

She blinked her eyes and couldn't believe that she had someone's name, not even her husband's, her father's, or her mother's. As extreme confusion burst her skull, she swirled that phone to him in no time and asked, "Do you know him?"

He scoffed before declaring, "How can't I know my brother? He is your only best friend. Did I that much intoxicate you yesterday to forget your heart-desired best friend?"

"You have a brother?" She voiced incredibly shock now.

His big brother was born in Russia, and immediately after one year, he proposed to live in Switzerland. He came back after his 22 only to take care of his father and plenty of company since his little brother was only 19 years old back then and not able to take care of company.

When he was twenty-two, Elvira was a 17-year-old girl. Somehow, there is a possibility to gain a friendship with him and her because she always spends more time in Leonid's house than in her poor little house.

Elvira stared at the name for a while. Thoughts started to play around her mind as Leonid was waiting anxiously to see if she would call him or keep her bride. If arrogant, selfish leonid has a fear, then it would be only his brother, Lev, not even his father.

"No, no, let's check the bank balance." Elvira shook her frozen head, blinked one of her staring pupils, and checked the balance.

She had 9 million dollars in her balance, as if she had earned all the money only to divorce him.

Continuous shock kept shaking her heart, making her lose her heartbeat.

However, she needs an extra one million to rip her marital relationship from him.

"What do I do? May I ask his brother? Oh... No! What if he was also the same as this selfish devil?"

She wiggled her body disappointedly, and a harsh, deep breath escaped again as if she were standing on the edge of whether she would select marriage life or cut off this unwanted marriage.

"But I can't live with this devil, I hate him," she moaned in a slight wail. However, her fingers clicked the call button, and the phone rang.

Two of them swallow their fear, but different kinds of fear. Elvira was frightened about his behaviour. 'What if he supports his brother and tells you you must earn to repay it?'

Leonid was slightly frightened. 'Will he give me money or kick me out of the house for her?'

Even in the AC room, they felt like sweat was dripping over their foreheads, and two of them whipped it, sloppy their hands in the air at the same time.

"Yes, Elvira. Do you need any help?" His voice from the phone was deeper than the ocean. It was her first time hearing the fabulous Russian accent through his manly voice.

Leonid bit his nail anxiously, leaned his ear closer to her phone, and eavesdropped.

"Uhm..." She hesitated for a moment, inhaled deeply, and exhaled relaxingly to overcome her fear before asking, "Where are you?"

"I'm at my house; why? Aren't your days off with my brother?" he asked inevitably.

"What?" She was unaware that she had no memory of the past four years. She was now a twenty-year-old girl, studied business early with leonid, and was married and had a job in the same company as Leonid. Not for Leonid but for herself, she begged Leonid's father, who had no courage to say no to her.

"You said," he dictated without a clue first, swallowed his embarrassment, and delivered, "You said you were going to make love with him and were going to spend one month before offering him a divorce."

Elvira blushed. "You are that close to him to share this kind of stuff?" Embarrassingly asked herself, twisting her face away from Leonid, who fully focused on his brother's reply as if he knew everything about that.

"Anyway, since I'm that close, let's have hope that he will lend some money." She thought and was gaining some confidence to ask a favour.

"Elvira?" said his deep voice again.

"Can you lend me 1 million dollars?" throwing off her hesitation, she directly spilled.

"Why?" he asked only one question, but that was serious, like he was not happy with that.

"I'm going to divorce him right now. I lack 1 million dollars to compensate for the agreement." She explained first clearly and boldly; however, his deep silence poured some oil into her burning stomach, so she lowered her voice and asked, "Can you help me?"

"Where are you now?" He asked shortly.

"At his company," she replied shortly.

He hangs up the phone instantly.

Inside the meeting room, their foot was unconsciously beating the ground as anxiety danced on two of their faces.

In ten minutes, the door opened wide.

Two of them unseated quickly in fright. Her curious mixed-scary gaze was amazed by his stunningly handsome, charming face and sexy, crystal-clear white-shaded eyes. Those suitable hairstyles that hid his mysterious forehead made him look neat and exposed as a good boy. However, his outfit was like he came running as soon as he awakened.

"Why do you want to divorce him now?" His deep, ocean-gentle voice was much sexier in real life.

As for the sixteen-year-old girl, it was easy to be mesmerised by that iconic beauty and her inner self proudly smiling that she had been a friend to two handsome men.

She shook her head and cumulated her attention on what she wanted as he came and stood on the other side of the table, directly opposite her.

"I don't like him," she simply said, behaving like she knew Lev Fyodorov well so that no one was suspicious of her.

"What?" Lev was slightly shocked.

Yesterday at early night,

In the concrete seats built for passersby, having grown some flower plants at the centre of the circle, Elvira was a little drunk, leaning over Lev's shoulder as Lev casually stared at the few people passing the road.

"Lev, I'm going to have sex with him," the drunken voice of hers hopelessly said.

"Hmm," he hummed, like he didn't care about it all.

"And then... I'm going to give him a divorce." she declared.

Lev was shocked, twirled his neck to see her worried face, and did not dare to drift his gaze away from her.

"I love him. I really, really, really love him, Lev. It hurts me to leave him. But what do I do?" As she desperately explained her inner secret, he patted her shoulder and arm gently.

Currently in the Leonid office.

"Can you lend me some money?" With expectation, she looked into his eyes, frozen to move apart.

"But if you divorce him now, you have no place to go." He consciously asked her about the coming danger.

"Why? I have my father's house." She offered a painful smile.
