As the days passed, Jace found himself caught in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. His icy exterior began to thaw, and he started to see Marvis in a different light, not as a manipulative person like Tracey made him believe or a gold digger like he assumed after he found out that Marvis married him instead of her sis.
