With their resolve strengthened, they set out into the darkened grounds of the estate, their footsteps muffled by the soft crunch of leaves underfoot.

As they approached the old greenhouse, Marvis felt a surge of adrenaline course through her veins. This was it, the moment they had been waiting for. With a silent nod to her companions, she stepped forward, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Alexander!" she called out, her voice echoing through the still night air. "We know what you're planning, and we won't let you get away with it!"

There was a tense silence, broken only by the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze. Then, suddenly, Alexander's voice cut through the darkness, cold and menacing.

"Well, well, well," he sneered, stepping out from the shadows with a sinister grin. "It seems our little mouse has finally come out of her hole. But you're too late, Marvis. Much too late."
