As the tension in the room reached its peak, a voice suddenly rang out from the doorway, cutting through the silence like a knife.

"Enough."

All heads turned to see Grandpa Liam standing in the doorway, his expression grave but determined as he surveyed the scene before him.

"We will not resolve anything by shouting and accusations," he continued, his voice steady with authority. "We need to sit down and talk like civilized people."

Jace, Marvis, and Tracey's mother exchanged wary glances, unsure of what to make of Grandpa Liam's sudden intervention.

But Grandpa Liam wasted no time in taking charge, gesturing for everyone to take a seat around the table as he settled into a chair at the head.

"Now," he began, his eyes sweeping over each person in turn. "I want to hear from each of you. What is the cause of this conflict, and how do you propose we resolve it?"

Jace spoke first, his voice measured as he recounted the events that had led to their confrontation with Tracey's mother.
