32. I Don't Love You

“Don’t say that, it’s not like it is your fault, why are you pinning the blame on yourself?”

Keira was frustrated with what Clarke said; it felt like a bunch of excuses for her. She was not even mad at them but he is using this scenario to get out of their relationship. Keira felt betrayed again; and what’s more frustrating is that Clarke seems like he is trying to let go of her right after she surrendered everything to him again. Just like the first time.

Clarke was thankful for Keira’s understanding of the situation, but his own conscience is not letting him accept the forgiveness he feels he does not deserve.

“I am really ashamed of what my father did Keira; I don’t know how I can face you and your grandmother.”

Keira gave Clarke a quick kiss on the lips and then she stood up as she was still holding his hand.<
