Violet's POV
"Hey mom." I croaked as I entered her room.
"Hey baby. What's wrong?" She asked patting the bed next to her, like she always did when I was a little girl, and went running to her crying.
That made me cry even more. What if she dies and Vincenzo fails to save her? I know it won't be his fault, but the thought of losing her is killing me.
"I know mom. You don't have to pretend anymore." I said sitting next to her and laying my head on her lap.
"Sweetheart, I couldn't tell you that I am sick." She said sadly. "Maybe it's time I join your father again." She tried to smile, but stopped when heard me sobbing.
