"Since you both were gone, the cafe was empty. It is of course full of customers, but not staff." Carl whined.

"Aw I wish we could come back to work, but we have been really busy." I said smiling slightly.

"Je connais ma chère mais votre présence lets me be at ease." (I know my dear, but your presence lets me be at ease.)

"I am sorry, I wish we were under other circumstances. But you know how it is. And you know what Vin does for living, it's no secret. Well for the police of course it is." I said nervously.

"Oui bien sure. Derek etait là. J'ai oublié de te dire. He was asking about you." He sighed.
