"At last!"

She sighed with utter relief when her eyes came to her family house, there were torns and leaves in her hair, scratches on her skin and her clothes had been ript in so many places that they looked like rags.

But just seeing that her home was just a few steps away put her heart at ease as she staggered in the light of the birth of a new day while many others were still asleep.

It was when her fingers came to her doorknob that a thought sunk in her mind after what came next, I froze for a moment, partially in denial that soon melted into full acceptance when sge leaned forward.

And her door moved along.

"Oh, no..."

Escaped my lips, but it was confirmed as she quickly pulled back the knob to shut the door.

Because someone had broken into her house!
