"We have to surrender..."

Laura's racing heart nearly leaped out of her mouth at her mother's snapping voice.

Sweat dripped down her forehead and her body was trembling.

Her eyes met her mother's as they were speaking through mind linking, so that the rogues around could not hear them.

"But Mother..."

She said out with tears gushing down her eyes.The light of the moon was only filtering through a bit but she was mostly bullied away by the branches and leaves of the tree's that dance above their heads.

She had been held back, standing barely with a limp leg her hair haggered like a rat's nest and clothes ript almost to rags.

"No buts my dear...I can't do this anymore...your Father..."

Her mother paused, tears running out as she looked at her broken daughter and just Laura stood a tall male wolf with one grippinh a silver knife mere inches away from her back.
