A new journey

I wrap all the things and put it on the study table, that was at the other side of the room, as I was walking, I felt my legs were a bit numb, I guess that’s what you get for lying in a bed for one month straight. I started to move forward at the direction where Liam highlighted as closet and bathroom, and HOLY, it was hugeeee. I felt like princess, there were dresses, shoes, jewellery and all sorts of clothes and foot wears, it is a dream of every woman in this world, I move towards the bathroom, while admiring all the things and as expected the bathroom was freakin huge as well, I was also very rich but I was never used to seeing this much luxury.

I picked up a very elegant and simple dress and then I came out of the room it was like I have entered a palace, right after coming outside I saw a big hallway with fancy chandeliers and lamps sequenced through all the hallway. it screamed royalty. As I was admiring it suddenly out of nowhere.

“Ma’am, sir is asking for you at the dinner table”

"Aaah! What the fu" I stopped my sentence as I saw an old but kind a young-looking man.

"Wh-who are you? I asked."

“I am sirs and from now on your personal butler”

“Oh, so I have a personal butler as well".

He just smiled at me and told me to follow him, he led me to the dining table where Liam was also sitting and it is only natural that the dining table was also huge. It can fit a twenty person easily.

Liam was sitting right in front of me and I was told by the butler that I am not allowed to sit any closer to him at the dining table, he said Liam don’t like anyone sitting near him at the dining table. When I sat at the dining table my heartbeat started beating so fast that I thought my heart is going to come out of my chest.

There were only few servants and some of them were serving us as we finish our courses one by one. It was totally silent at the time of lunch, but at the end. Liam spoke up

“when you are done come to the study, I am sure we still have a lot to discuss, Lewis show her the way to study when she is done”. He said turning his head towards Lewis.

And then he left. When I was done eating butler Lewis showed me the way to study, as I entered the study, I saw General Liam wearing glasses standing in front of the window reading a book, and the wind was blowing his beautiful dark hairs.

I quickly hide my emotions and walk towards him,

“L-gen-Mr-”

I was a bit confuse what to call him.

"Mr. Grover it is" he said. making sure I heard that.

"sit”.

I sat at the sofa and he came and sat in front of me.

"So, about your new identity, you have any questions."

"Yes, in fact I have a lot of questions" I replied.

"Good cause you only have today to ask about all the things, moving forward I am not going to answer anything, ask."

What an attitude, I said to myself.

"Mr. Grover first of all can you tell me that how you fell in love with me?" That came out wrong.

He looked straight at me and spoke.

"What". He raised one of his eyebrows.

"oh I am sorry! I mean the whole fake love story can you tell me the whole story, I assume you had already figured out the story, so I asked". I explained.

“Hmm listen carefully if someone asks you that how we met or how we fell in love just tell the exact words as I tell you right now, understood?" I nodded.

"So, the story begins three years before when you were looking for a job, you had a friend who had some connections in military, so she passes your résumé and, I was in need of a PA and your résumé reached me. Moving forward I hired you, and I fell for you in the first place and since then you and I are together living in the same house and you still work for me as my PA (personal assistant)....."

“....Now if you got into any trouble or under any circumstances you have to make something up, you are most welcome made anything up, just make sure that I know about it".

"do all the servants know about all the fake stunt?” I asked.

“No, only butler Lewis know about it”. He replied, keeping it short.

"I also wanted to ask for some favours". I said, a bit nervous that he minght reject it.

“Go on ask”. phew! Thank god.

"I want you to help me get closer to my family again but with this new identity, like somehow, I have to introduce myself, Sara David, to them personally."

“So that you can get close to them and do the same thing as they did, and take your revenge”. He said, as if he had read my mind.

"Exactly". I nodded my head.

"okay you may leave" he said with a stern look and then carried on to read his book.
