Talking things out

(Elias)

When I woke up, I couldn't remember where I was or the faces of the person who was with me.

At first, it felt empty. Like I had lost a part of me indefinitely. I frowned and looked at the fingers that were intertwined with mine. Somehow, it was enough to calm me down, despite not fully knowing who I truly am.

“Elias?” A tall woman with black hair and blue eyes asked.

That's when I figured something out. She must be my mother. A grin formed on my face as I got ready to reply. The man standing next to her looked exactly like me, could he be my father?

“Mom, I'm fine! There's no need to worry.” With my answer, she started to cry. I looked at her confused, trying to figure out what I said or did wrong to get such a response from her.

“Oh my goddess! It is so good to hear you call me your mother. Do you know how long I have waited to hear those words from you?” Ok, it seems as if she was slightly crazy.
