**POV Lily**

I opened my eyes and found myself in a chaotic scene. The smell of smoke permeated the air, and the distant noise of something burning echoed in my ears. Initially, everything was confusing, but reality quickly asserted itself: we were in the middle of the woods, and Caroline was beside me, injured and covered in dust.
