The night was enveloped in an electrically charged atmosphere, and I decided to approach the mysterious boy while still disguised as Peter. He was alone, apart from the other competitors, as if he preferred solitude.

"What's your name?" I asked, maintaining a friendly tone despite his closed expression.

"None of your business. Go back to your dorm," he replied sharply, not even looking in my direction.

Surprised by the rudeness, I persisted. "I was just trying to make allies. Like you, it seems you don't know anyone here. Everyone is someone important's child. Why not join forces?"

He let out a cynical laugh. "You want to join me? A wolf without a pack? Sounds pretty stupid to me."

The honesty of his words hit me, but I didn't back down. "Don't underestimate a lone wolf. I might surprise you. Besides, I don't care about others' importance. I'm only interested in strength and determination."
