I could've sworn I was in sanity but everyone thought I wasn't. The same thought whirled through the heads of my parents who specifically gave birth to me. With that, I found myself falling in love with my own solitude. I fought my demons alone. I chose to live by myself and isolated myself from the people I love. I'd been searching long and hard for a hand to hold. Then suddenly, a small light hidden in the depths of darkness flashed before me and the wall that I've been unconsciously building to protect myself vanished in an instant. Once again, I felt the affection and I was desperate to keep it. However, little did I know that a lot of malevolent eyes were keeping track of what I do. I am not who I think I am. The other world has confirmed it. But my past won't allow me to change. Will I keep on choosing love? Or will I accept my destiny that has been long engraved in the prophecy?

Prologue
I saw myself at the edge of nowhere beneath a very odd tree. White leaves were falling from it that gave me an eerie sensation. I was like inside a 90's television. Everything was in black and white. My gaze landed on the guy beside me. At that moment, I realized that I was not alone. Everything has no color except me and him. It felt weird especially when he touched my cheek softly and I felt the warmth of his hand. I was lying on the grass with hi

Chapter 01: The Scenarios
Do you know how it feels like to be broken? Lost? Confused?   I think I do. Ever since this weird thing started showing, my life has never been normal. I became emptier than I've ever felt before. The vines of despair are holding me tight. Should I hold on to it too?   I let out a loud, exasperated breath. I am now again lost in my darkest thoughts. This happens from time to time especially when I'm left alone. Even if I try not to think about it, the thoughts would just immediately rush out like the water from a broken faucet wanting to be fixed.   I stared at the students walking along the hallways of the university. I’m currently leaning on the wall, waiting for my dear friend to fucking show up. It’s already been an hour for Pete’s sake!   "Heavenly!"   Almost everyone&

Chapter 02: Brother's Birthday
The sound of my phone ringing loudly this early in the morning woke up the hell out of me!   I took my phone from the bedside table and looked at the screen with sleepy eyes. It's mom’s caller ID appearing on my phone screen. I don’t want to answer it but I know that she won’t stop until I do.   "Hello," I answered using my uninterested sleepy voice.   "Hi baby, good morning!" She said those words in her most cheerful voice and it’s making me irritated even more.   "What's with the sudden phone call?"   Yes, I know I’m rude but then, I have my reasons.   "Come over today. We will celebrate your brother's birthday!"   I literally hitched my breath when I heard what she just said. I

Chapter 03: First Appearance
After a few seconds, I saw Dad going down the stairs and he saw us cuddling on the couch.    "Heavenly, how are you?" I faintly smiled at him too and said the same thing I told Mom a while ago. He just nodded at me and went to the kitchen to check up on Mom who I think is still not done cooking.    Dad is strict, but I know that he loves us... so much. But it doesn’t change the fact that I still hold a grudge against him for almost making me take those crazy medicines. I just can’t believe that they trusted the doctor’s words more than mine.   However, when he saw how I was so against it to the point that I chose to live separately from them, he stopped insisting eventually. At least they realized that I am still sane.   A few more minutes passed before Mom called us to eat. There are no guests, j

Chapter 04: Need Explanations
After the surroundings swirled again, everything went back to normal. I am back inside my room, still sitting on my bed. But I am still shocked from what just happened.   Was it even real? It doesn't feel like a dream. I can still feel his touch lingering on my skin, on my cheeks. I'm pretty sure I didn't imagine everything that just happened.   I am still puzzled when I heard footsteps running towards my room.   "Heavenly!" Hellios banged the door so loudly that I jumped on my seat because of shock. "We heard you shouting..."    He went closer to me and I saw Mom and Dad behind him with the same worried expression plastered on their faces.   “Did it happen again? Baby, are you okay?” Mom sat down on the bed beside me together with Hell while Dad is standin

Chapter 05: The Fall
Colleen was just silently trailing me from behind like some dog who just got scolded by its owner. I thought she will finally remain silent but the moment we got out of the library, she started talking again.    “What the hell was that for?! Why are you being so grumpy? Now, we can’t visit the library for about a week. What’s with you?!”   I didn’t answer and just continued walking. I know I’m at fault so I’m not saying anything about the librarian. Normally, I would have badmouthed her just now.   Colleen went in front of me and spread both of her arms to stop me from walking. I glared at her but she glared back so I rolled my eyes and shook my head out of irritation.   “Seriously, what happened?” She started to sound worried.   &ld
