Entangled Romance

The sound of the alarm clock went off, a little groan was heard as the ray of sunlight which passed through an open window brightened the large room.  Cassandra, a mid thirty woman with blonde hair opened her eyes, her gaze fixed to the ceiling before her. She yawned, turned to her other side of the bed and picked up her phone, her sharp blue eyes on some messages which were sent a couple of hours ago. With a frown on her face, she sat up from her bed, her fingers selling through her phone and at once, it beeped reminding her that her daily routine had just begun.  She glanced at the wall clock next to her, it's exactly 7 am and she has to be at her office by 9 am but first, her workout will not be abandoned. The following day, Cassandra went to work early just to avoid such lateness like the previous day. As soon as she walked into the building, all her workers rushed to their seats of work and they all avoided her gaze because none of them wanted to get fired.  Cassandra got out of the elevator and walked down the hallway that leads to her office. As she got closer, she saw some women sitting comfortably on a sofa kept for visitors. Cassandra still couldn't believe that she employed a man into such a job. Well, right now isn't a time for her to think about anything else but to test his skill, if she should notice any bad character in him, she won't think twice but fire him with immediate effect.  The next day, she got to work, as she walked into her company, Dennis walked towards her, his hands filled with files but Cassandra didn't look at him, her pace still fixed on her destination.  "Ma'am, the LAX company sent an email through the company's mail box" he said walking very fast as he didn't want to be left behind, they both got into the elevator and Cassandra stood still, not a friendly look could be seen on her face.  "What do they need?" The day rolled by fast and soon, it was the end of work time. Dennis quickly followed Cassandra to her car and watched her chauffeur drive her into the busy road. With a sigh of relief that the day's torment had ended, Dennis still couldn't believe that this was just his first day at work and it felt like he had worked there for years.    He walked towards his car, got in and drove home ready for what tomorrow night brought. The rest of the day went by so quickly and the next day, Dennis found himself driving to the airport along with Cassandra who sat next to him dressed in a luxurious purple gown and sunglasses covering her eyes.  "It's just an hour flight and we will be there in no time" Cassandra let out and glanced at her wristwatch.  "How many more minutes do we have left to get to the airport?" She asked her chauffeur.  "Five minutes Ma'am" the older man replied, his eyes fixed on the road.  Dennis didn't say a word but held onto Cassandra's hand bag. He inhaled deeply, the nice scent of Cassandra held his nostril and he tried so hard not to let it be obvious that he was thrilled by her scent.
