Lilly’s POVHaving finally heard back from Violet, I can relax and tune back into the conversation around the dining table. We rarely use this room, as it’s a little too formal for our pack. We only use it for special occasions, or when snobby and backward thinking Alphas come for meetings. The heavy oak table that was carved in the pack still has an earthy scent to it. Chapter 9Oakley POVI had wandered around the side of the packhouse when the pulling seemed to intensify. Knowing I couldn't go any further thanks to my damn wolf refusing to allow me back to my room for shoes, I stood there frozen.
